So clearly I can't stop...I am on a roll - oh how I love Halloween! So I had a few remaining dollar store skulls and I decided to go a little "tribal" (or at least that is what the Mr. thinks).
I grabbed a few items. See those sticks, I was digging through the green-belt to find just the right ones.
I cut the Dry Foam into three pieces, stuck the foam skulls onto my perfectly selected sticks, and began filling the areas with paper towels and moss.
I then added a few accessories to my "graveyard".
I decided to create a vase to complete the new vignette.
Here is how I created my spooky vase.
I grabbed a few things...
and started wrapping,
then added a ribbon,
made a tag with a little Distress Ink,
and I added a couple numbers. The lovely ladies at Shanty 2 Chic are hosting a "I Made it Without My Hubby Party". I linked up this post, go check out the rest.
I also added this post to Transformation Thursday over at The Shabby Chic Cottage. Lots of great ideas over there...

I love the graveyard ... very creative! I'm lazy and tend not to "make" too many of my decorations, but your ideas are things I think I could even handle! :)

ooooh, I really like that. I don't have any halloween decorations but I think I want those !
So fun and creepy! I can't quite bring myself to go the creepy route when decorating for halloween but you have me thinking! I love what you are doing with your burlap garland in this post and the last. I have rolls of it but have never done anything with it. Thanks for the ideas!
Best wishes,
Tammy

so, I come to your page, and eek! It scared me! The first thing I see are your sculls! lol
You are very creative! I don't decorate, I just build and repurpose!
Although I have to admit, after seeing everyone's Halloween/fall decor, I wish I had time to do the decorations too!
When Thanksgiving and Christmas roll around, and I see everyone's creative ideas, maybe I'll be able to join in!
Very nice blog!

I absolutely LOVE this!!! I'm a big fan of easy and cheap, especially when it turns out like something from a pottery barn catalog that would cost $80! GREAT JOB!!!
I really dig those bottles and will totally be copying you :O) Where did you get the berry branches? I'm having a hard time finding realistic looking ones....
Thanks for stopping by my place.
peace, cindy
