Canvas Wall Art ~

DIY | Project Inspiration

Here is a super easy wall art project.
Here is all you need:
  • Canvas
  • Interior Paint (I used Behr)
  • Stencils
  • Stain (I used Minwax)
  • Rhinestones

I started by painting the canvas with some paint I had on hand.

I then painted on the stencils that I got from this great Etsy site - Artistic Stencils.

I then applied a few layers of stain to "age" the canvas a little.

A few rhinestones...

And viola, you have yourself some great wall art.

Your ideas overwhelm me! You have such great ideas. I always check to see if you made extra and put them in your etsy shop. I would be a repeat customer.

What a fabulous project. And so simple. We are moving into a new home soon and will need more wall art. This sure fits the bill. Thanks for sharing.

Oh, and a question. I am having a hard time telling what color paint you used as the base coat. My monitor is showing all of the pictures as very yellow and I think you used a shade of white. Would mind sharing the base coat color? Thanks.
