A Lamp Transformation ~

DIY | Inspiration

I picked up this lovely at Goodwill - lovely and very yellow. Not just any yellow, mustard yellow...I know, you are jealous.

But with a little black spray paint (thank you again Rustoleum).

And a new shade (although I think I might make one a but larger), so much better!

Now, why don't you go spray something!

Just got two lamps at Goodwill, also, Chelsea! They are for my daughter & her hubby's apartment. I painted one black already but I realized it is a Rustoleum SEMI-GLOSS. What did you use on yours? Satin? That's what I need to get I think to paint the larger lamp. Yours is like the big one we found ~ some interest to the shape and a nice solid piece.

Love the new lamp!! I just spray painted a light fixture this weekend and I have my hubby convinced that spray paint is pretty much awesome. :)

Wow, what a difference! I think I would have walked right by that lamp, and that would have been a mistake :-)

Wow, that looks great! I love the shape of the old shade it came with. If it's in good shape, maybe you could cover it in some fabric?
