New Link Party at Room to Inspire ~

I truly love all of the wonderful linky parties that are thrown out here in the blogisphere - I enjoy linking up and having people stop by who may not have normally stopped by and LOVE having a collection of wonderful ideas/projects all in one place to scroll through. I sit back, enjoy my coffee and become inspired!  I have been thinking about hosting a linky party for awhile now and decided to make Wednesday the day - so be sure to come over to Be Inspired at Room to Inspire!

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Papa's Wedding ~

This past weekend my Father-in-Law got married. Here are a few shots from the day...

Here is my little dude.

And my little dudette - aka flower girl.

Candles at the ceremony.

The tippy-top of the wedding cake.

The couple's first dance.

A bridesmaid's bouquet.

My dude loosing his steam as the evening arrived.

And my Sister's ceremony is this Saturday - so I might be MIA the majority of this week, as we get all of the decorations in order!

Lovin' Coffered Ceilings ~

Here are a few lovely images of coffered ceilings - putting these in my dream house file as well!

To start off this lovely collection of photos, here is a photo of the wonderful ceiling at the Pantheon in Rome, Italy. I love this building!

Beam Me Up ~

I have been really lovin' exposed ceiling beams and coffered ceilings lately. Whether they are existing structural beams or added for detail, I just love look. I keep ripping out ideas and saving them in a box our dream house file. Here are a few images with exposed beams that make me want to build...

House in the Hamptons ~

I was cruising around Architectural Digest and landed on this beautiful home.

I love the contrast between the dark woodwork on the railing and the white woodwork throughout the rest of the space.

This space makes me want to entertain - and find a way to make that double chandelier!

Love the coffered ceilings and the monotone pallet.

And we are dreaming of an outdoor space right now, so of course I was drawn to this one.

Oh, have I mentioned my love for looking at floor plans? I could flip through them for hours.

I hope you are all having a fabulous Monday!

Shabby Chic Valentine Cone ~

My daughter was the lucky reciepent of this magnificent Valentine's gift from Monica at La Famiglia Design!

I just love all of the sweet details that Monica added.
The key is adorable...

 The tags are so sweet...

And her name tag is perfect...

Be sure to head over to her blog for a tutorial. She also had a romantic Valentine display using a riddling rack that I just love.

I hope you all have a great weekend and a Happy Valentine's Day!

Kids Valentine's ~

My kids Valentine's Day Party is this Friday, so I decided it was time to get the Valentine's started. I am sure you have all seen these recently...

And I knew I wanted to do something similar - and then I found these on Skip to my Lou:

And I was thrilled! I selected some colored paper and began printing.

Had the kiddos sign their names and I cut out all of the shapes - after 26 my hand was literally shaking!

Then punched holes in the flowers and had the kids feed the lollipop through the center. Using double stick tape, I attached the leaves to the sticks.

Thank you Skip to my Lou! My kids are thrilled to deliver their cute Valentine's!
