I was cruising around Architectural Digest and landed on this beautiful home.
I love the contrast between the dark woodwork on the railing and the white woodwork throughout the rest of the space.
This space makes me want to entertain - and find a way to make that double chandelier!
Love the coffered ceilings and the monotone pallet.
And we are dreaming of an outdoor space right now, so of course I was drawn to this one.
Oh, have I mentioned my love for looking at floor plans? I could flip through them for hours.
I hope you are all having a fabulous Monday!
This is a beautiful home, Chelsea! I love that staircase and I'd love to do mine with the dark stain and white. That chandelier is something. I always look at the floor plans when they are included with an article, too. I like to see how the rooms are laid out next to each other or front/back of the house.
ReplyDeleteOmigosh Chelsea that is SO funny! I used to buy magazines that only showed floorplans. Thought I was nuts!
ReplyDeleteHmmm I'm not a fan. I think I've been living in Mexico too long and I need a bit of color. I would immediately paint the walls pink or something.
ReplyDeleteI reeeeally want that gazebo, though! And I hear ya on the floor plans. When I was a kid I would draw up floor plans and maps, just for fun.
so pretty! i love the hamptons and i love floor plans too.
ReplyDeletegreat post! floor plans are a favorite of mine too...im dreaming of spring and all the floor plans i get to dream up of my porch! yay!
ReplyDeleteI love those pictures! The one of the monotype living room is my favorite! The staircase is pretty fab also!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that porch. I wish I was sitting on it right now and not stuck in the house snowed in!
ReplyDeleteWow, that's a beautiful home! I've always loved looking at floor plans too.
