They were also in the clearance aisle - normally $12.99 down to $11.00. Not a huge sale, but I just loved them. I found myself looking around at the other shoppers wondering why we weren't all fighting for them! Luckily there was no brawl, but I was amazed that they walked right by these...but now that they are home with me, I am a little stumped. Should I paint them? Add a base? or just leave them alone...maybe they can play a role in my Master Bedroom re-do...
I want to thank Cori over at Starview Sonnet for awarding me with the Kreativ Blogger Award. I am thrilled that she thought of me - I was smiling from ear to ear. And it is always nice to meet a fellow Washingtonian - yes, that is a word! Since I was so lucky to be awarded this last week, you can look here to see who I nominated. I hope you all have a fabulous weekend.
Ooh, I'm headed out the door to my TJ Maxx right now - I hope I stumble off a couple of those! I'm thinking they would be cute in my daughter's bathroom to hold qtips or cotton balls or pony tail holders... too cute!
ReplyDeleteI think you should live with them "as is" for the time being. I'm sure it will hit you on how to use them or paint them. That's what I do when I'm not sure which way to go with something. I'm going to try and hit TJ Maxx this weekend and see if they have that other crown you got.
ReplyDeleteI'm so jealous you found all this crown stuff! I have been keeping my eye out for months trying to find a cute crown something! That is it TJ Maxx here I come today!
ReplyDeleteI don't go to my local TJ Maxx too much but I am starting to think that I need to get there more often!
ReplyDeleteWhat about "aging" them to bring out some of the detail.
I'm sorry but nothing I come up with will be better than what you do with them!! Can't wait to see the MB make over!!
