they are just soooo fun and my kiddos are having a great time assembling them!

Conversation Valentine's ~

Valentine Gift | Inspiration

 My dear friend Monica from La Famiglia Design posted these fabulous Valentine's and I just had to share! 

This is such a fun Valentine for all ages - 

Just think of all the cute words you could use to personalize your spice bag for that special someone or the fun your kiddos will have coming up with saying for their classroom friends.

And simply fill them with your favorite candy.

Garden Valentine ~

If you are aching for a little more Valentine's Day decor, there is fun tutorial over at Lowe's Creative Ideas for this Garden Valentine...

Step-by-Step

1. With a pencil, draw a heart at least 1 foot wide on contractor's paper. Cut out this template with scissors.
   
2. Roll out a section of lawn-and-garden hex netting, and place the heart template over it. Wearing gloves, use a wire cutter to clip around the outline of the heart. Repeat to create a second heart-shaped piece of netting.
3. Connect the two pieces of netting by twisting the edges together with pliers. Start at the bottom and work up the sides of the heart. At the top, leave an opening large enough to fit your hand inside. Note: Protect your hands by wearing gloves during this step.
   
4. Spray-paint the heart mold in the color of your choice. Allow to dry.
5. Stuff the inside of the heart with sheet moss, again wearing gloves. (For a 15-inch-wide heart, you will need approximately four bags of moss.) Complete the heart by twisting together the remaining netting at the top using pliers. Turn under any sharp edges.
6. Weave a piece of red primary wire around the twisted netting to provide a safe and attractive edge. Snip excess wire.

Mini Love Banner (using my Silhouette) ~

Valentine | Project Inspiration

Have I told you lately how much I love my Silhouette machine? Well if not, I do! It is so super easy to use and the options are truly endless. Here is a little project I made with with my bad boy (aka Silhouette).

I simply laid out "love" with the pendent shape in Silhouette Studio.  

I printed it on my HP printer and then cut it with the Silhouette. Be sure to use the registration marks so the image and the cutter are able to line up.

And instantly, I have my shapes printed, cut and ready to go.

Grab a little jute.

And you have a super easy, festive Valentine banner.

Valentine Silhouette Plate {with Silhouette} ~

Here is another Valentine's Day project using the Silhouette (I am lovin' this machine)! This one is another super simple, inexpensive idea. I downloaded the cupid image - yep, you guessed it, for .99 cents. I then laid it out on my white plate (I already had it in on hand). 

 

and really, voila! Super easy and instantly festive.

Another Valentine Frame {With Silhouette} ~

I thought I would share another easy project using the Silhouette. For this project I bought a "Print and Cut" image from their online store for .99 cents. 

I simply printed off the image - yep, that design was only .99 cents - just think of the possibilities!

I cut down the image, rounded the corners and added a little Distress Ink to the edges. I then grabbed a dollar store frame (oh Dollar Tree, have I told you lately how much I love you?) and a little scrapbook paper.

I decided to add a few jewels to finish it off. 

And yes, that was it.

Shabby Chic Valentine Cone ~

My daughter was the lucky reciepent of this magnificent Valentine's gift from Monica at La Famiglia Design!

I just love all of the sweet details that Monica added. 
The key is adorable...

Kids Valentine's ~

My kids Valentine's Day Party is this Friday, so I decided it was time to get the Valentine's started. I am sure you have all seen these recently...

And I knew I wanted to do something similar - and then I found these on Skip to my Lou:

 

And I was thrilled! I selected some colored paper and began printing.

Had the kiddos sign their names and I cut out all of the shapes - after 26 my hand was literally shaking!

Then punched holes in the flowers and had the kids feed the lollipop through the center. Using double stick tape, I attached the leaves to the sticks.

Thank you Skip to my Lou! My kids are thrilled to deliver their cute Valentine's!

Key to My Heart ~

I had a few items laying around the house and decided to make a little Valentine's Day display. 

 I picked this book up at Goodwill for $2. It is from 1912!

I had these keys...

Decided to make a tag...

And throw it all together on top of a little mirror...

 

I just love how it all came together!
