Easter Egg Project ~

I recently picked up this egg at Micheals and my husband kept asking "What ARE you going to do with this?" Well I decided to transform my blue foam egg!

I started by spray painting it Heirloom White -

I then mixed together silver and gold paint and sort of "fauxed" the egg to give it a little texture -

And what egg is complete without a few dots -

Added a ribbon -

And I wanted to make a tag so I grabbed one of these frames I picked up at Micheals for $1 -

And put it all together-

I just love how it turned out!

  14. Very cute. I might have to make one myself. One question I have for you about the spray paint. How do you keep it from dripping? do you spray several light coats or is there just some magical paint that doesn't drip?
