The Power of Paint (in the hallway) ~

I have been painting a little the last few days and here is one of my "new" spaces thanks to a little paint. Here is our hallway from the garage into the kitchen before:

During the painting - man, that was a lot of molding to cut around - 4 doors and 1 door jam to be exact.

And the after...

I painted this Pottery Barn mirror this last Summer from a mahogany wood to black and sanded the edges. And the rug I purchased at Tuesday Morning for $49.99.

And added a few names just to personalize it. I used Behr Ultra, paint and primer in one in Belgian Sweet. I purchased this for our master bedroom to paint over a red wall, hence the primer. I will try to show you more on that this week.

I love the paint color you chose & the wall art looks great, but how functional too! I love a great place to hang my keys when I come in :)

Love the color, Chelsea! I also love your runner. I've been thinking about picking up a couple of new ones myself. I'll have to remember to look in Tuesday Morning.

Great color! It looks very similar to what I did in our stairwell. Very cozy and inviting! =]

Wow, what a difference paint makes. I didn't even notice the mirror in the before picture, but it looked so pretty in the second. Very pretty.
