Any Mac Bloggers Out There?

I LOVE my Mac and I LOVE blogging - now I just need to make the two work together. I have been using the Blogger standard software to create all of my posts thus far - but am on the lookout for great blogware I can use with my Mac. I know PC users are huge fans of Windows Live Writer, and I am looking for a similar program that is Mac friendly.

I know there are a lot of programs out there -

But wondering, if you are on a Mac, what do you use?

The Power of Paint (in the hallway) ~

I have been painting a little the last few days and here is one of my "new" spaces thanks to a little paint. Here is our hallway from the garage into the kitchen before:

During the painting - man, that was a lot of molding to cut around - 4 doors and 1 door jam to be exact.

And the after...

ah...

I painted this Pottery Barn mirror this last Summer from a mahogany wood to black and sanded the edges. And the rug I purchased at Tuesday Morning for $49.99.

And added a few names just to personalize it. I used Behr Ultra, paint and primer in one in Belgian Sweet. I purchased this for our master bedroom to paint over a red wall, hence the primer. I will try to show you more on that this week.

Tobi Fairley Interiors ~

I always enjoy looking at Tobi Fairley's interiors. Her design always seems to have just the right amount of elegance, comfort and style. She has a great blog, if you get a chance check it out!

Goodwill Finds ~

I hit my local Goodwill yesterday and thought I would share my finds. I picked up the tall urns for $5.99 each. I think these would be great outside or even next to my sink...

Maybe something kinda like this...
And a couple glass bowls for .99 cents and candlestick holders for $1.99. I am not sure yet, but I can see some sort of project with the holders. I just love how chunky they are.

And I picked up two glass plates and two more candle holders. Now I know you have all seen this next action -

But I just love a cakestand! A little gorilla glue and you have yourself a beautiful stand.
I especially love them stacked.

When they are not holding scrumptious treats, mine holds a few of my necessities.

My darling hubby and I spent the entire weekend cleaning out the garage...it amazes me how much stuff we have accumulated over just the last year! So some serious organizing and I must say, my body is a little sore! I know, totally pathetic right?

Another Simple Valentine's Day Project ~

I picked up a few $1 frames at Michaels last week and have a few project ideas in mind. And while I was playing around, I created this very simple and fun Valentine.

I started by cutting out the plastic.

Then cut out the paper to fit...

I printed out L.O.V.E in red cut them out, added a little Distress Ink to the sides (oh how I love my Distress Ink) and simply taped them into place. TA DA...
