I recently picked up these bad boys.

Yep, that is wax melted all over that shiney wood- awesome!

I took them apart and diligently picked and sanded my way to the original wood. Luckily they came apart super easily. 

I then took them to my spray paint room (aka the side yard) and doused them with a little Rustoleum Heirloom White. My Mom then graciously sanded away until these lovelies appeared. 

Love them!

The Power of Paint (in the hallway) ~

I have been painting a little the last few days and here is one of my "new" spaces thanks to a little paint. Here is our hallway from the garage into the kitchen before:

During the painting - man, that was a lot of molding to cut around - 4 doors and 1 door jam to be exact.

And the after...

ah...

I painted this Pottery Barn mirror this last Summer from a mahogany wood to black and sanded the edges. And the rug I purchased at Tuesday Morning for $49.99.

And added a few names just to personalize it. I used Behr Ultra, paint and primer in one in Belgian Sweet. I purchased this for our master bedroom to paint over a red wall, hence the primer. I will try to show you more on that this week.
