Oh, How I Love Craigslist ~

I picked up this buffet on Craigslist this weekend.

It is going to go in my "new" craft room. I can see baskets on the sides holding all of my paints, jewels, tags...

I am not sure what type of wood it is, but it is heavy and has Drexel on the inside of the top drawer.
I am thinking black...oh, and the asking price - $20 bucks! I am hoping the weather stays warm enough for me to prime this baby soon!

Hanging Easter Egg Project ~

Yes, another Easter Project!

My Mom picked this up recently for $5.99. It was the wrong color but definitely had potential.

So added some paint,

and a little moss.

But it still needed something, so I added a burlap flower.

And yet, it still needed something else. So I grabbed a couple of plastic eggs from last year.

I hope you all have a great weekend!

Be Inspired Link Party ~

Here are a few inspiring ideas from the party last week:

Holly at 504 Main created these great eggs -
She used real eggs and great vintage images from The Graphics Fairy.

Lisa at the Fern Creek Cottage created this cute Easter Tree -
She made adorable eggs and tags to adorn the tree.

Sarah at A Little of This and a Little of That created this great piece of art -
She used vintage flatware, a frame from Goodwill and spray painted burlap.

1. Select any project that YOU created that you think will inspire someone else.
2. Add a link of your post to the party - make sure it is a link to the specific post not your blog.
3. Give a short description of your project so we can all see what your are highlighting.

Napa Style Inspired Lazy Susan ~

I saw this great lazy susan in my latest Napa Style catalog -

I love this! I just love the rustic feel and the functionality. But the price tag is a bit high at $249.00. Now have I mentioned how much I enjoy Micheal Chiarello? Maybe for a later post...

So I have a bunch of spindles (thanks Gayle) and I was going to cut one down, sand it and get it prepped, until I laid eyes on a candlestick ($1.99) that I picked up at Goodwill awhile back. I also recently picked up  a lazy susan for $4.99 and a wood plate for $1.99.

I assembled them,

and played around a little bit,

and finally decided it will be a piece for my "new" craft room.

I like the Napa Style version for $249.00, but I LOVE my version for $9 bucks!

Two Goodwill Tables ~

Do you remember this fantastic Goodwill find for only $7.50 -

And this find for $4.99

Now I love them both, but the hallway table just seemed to need a little more "weight" and the piano bench was really too tall for my Grandparents piano. So I put them together...

And I love it!
I hope you all have a fabulous weekend!
