So I grabbed this old frame and this burlap sack I recently picked up for $1.
and put them together (I might still embellish the top portion) - really for a dollar!
Added a few accessories and my little wall is looking much more complete.
The books and the the little guy (he also has a mate) I just recently picked up at Goodwill.
If you haven't already, be sure to check out my giveaway.
Have a great weekend!

Very cool looking, Chelsea! I wonder if a fleur would look good at the top. I like how your flowers pick up the colors in the books in your vignette.
ReplyDeletePerfect, look out, Pottery Barn may steal this idea from you!! Janell
ReplyDeleteThat is one of my favorite things in a very long time. It's fabulous. I've been eying a colorful flower sack at a nearby thrift store. Now I know what I might do with it!

Love! I want this :) I think I like the top blank. It just gives it a 'real" and interesting look, vs. store bought. But, I'm sure whatever you do will be fabulous! Now, I need to find me one.;)
ReplyDeleteVery good idea! You have the neatest ideas for lowcost decorating items. I am so excited. I am going Goodwill hunting this afternoon. I have seen what so many have found and am hoping to snag some great finds. Wish me luck!
