I was recently inspired by these eggs that Joan at Anything Goes Here linked up to Be Inspired.
So I picked up these .99 cent plastic Easter eggs at Micheal's last week.
I used Royal Coat Decoupage Finish to glue paper onto the outside of one of the eggs.
I can't seem to find the next photo, so here it is with the paper "decoupaged" on and a little bow.
For the bow I took a little ribbon and some jewels to finish it off.
I really like how it turned out - and for .99 cents, I LOVE it!
Thanks Joan for the great inspiration!
These are fantasic! I too saw them and went crazy. I can't believe I haven't done them yet. I was mulling over ideas and see you used paper. That's what I was thinking also. I was also thinking about some old cotton shirts you know, the soft cottony kind. Yours came out great!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I saw Joan's eggs too -- and since that time, many others for inspiration. I just need to find my old bag of plastic eggs and get some more decoupage glue! Thanks for additional inspiration. They turned out so lovely. Many blessings, Tammy :)
ReplyDeleteThat's a neat idea, but I still like your larger one, Chelsea! Together they make a nice vignette!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty...another great idea!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful eggs you've made:)
