So a long story short - we had a leak in the family room, we had to put in new carpet, then the kitchen table didn't look good, then I moved the dining room table into the kitchen and now I have a living room again!
So I have been thinking of ways to arrange the seating and I really like this idea:

Yep, I really like having four chairs around a coffee table/ottoman...hum...
How about you? Do you have couches are chairs?

Oh couches all the way!!! I think the chairs positioned like that always remind me of a hotel lobby...
